*According to the Sunday, April 30, 1950 edition of the local Walla Walla newspaper,
wrestling was starting up on Thursday night at the Arena.  The venue had been recently
renovated from a post theatre to a sports center.  The shows were going to feature junior
and light heavyweight wrestlers and be under the sponsorship of the American Legion.  
Jack Kennedy was the promoter and Maury Kennedy his matchmaker.  Junior
heavyweights were from 178 to 190 and light heavyweight were under 178.
