The price of the show was $9.99. -The Flying Elvis’ (Jorge Estrada, Sonny Siaki and Jimmy Yang) b. Low-Ki, Jerry Lynn and A.J. Styles. Yang pinned Styles. -Teo pinned Hollywood. -Don West and Ed Ferrara went to the ring and brought out the beautiful ladies that would be in next week's Lingerie Battle Royal. Francine, Miss Joanie, Shannon, Alexis Marie, Erin, Elektra, Taylor and Teresa all came down to the ring. Francine then took the mic and told the other ladies that they didn't belong in the ring with her. Elektra took exception to that and the two women brawled in the ring until Francine ripped Elektra's top off and left. -The Johnsons (Richard and Rod Johnson) b. Ricky Steamboat introduced the new NWA Champion, Ken Shamrock. Shamrock mentioned the history of the belt and said that he would defend the belt with honor and pride. He talked about having been all over the world but now, he had risen to the top as NWA Champion. Shamrock said love it or not, he was the new champ. Out came Sinister Minister. "Excuse me, I do so hate to intrude on this schmooze party." Minister said he had a message from God. "Not your God but mine." Minister said the Disciples of his new church would control the belt. Minister dared Shamrock to face his disciple with the belt on the line. He brought out Slash (Wolfie D). Shamrock asked if that was a joke. He offered to put the belt up on the spot. Shamrock said he had someone else in mind. Malice jumped Shamrock from behind and choked the bejesus out of him. "Might is right and the meek inherit nothing." Once Shamrock recovered, he called Malice (The Wall) some nasty names and threatened to break his bones. NWA-TNA Third Pay-Per-View (Live) -The third NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held on July 3, 2002 in Nashville, Tennesee at the Municipal Auditorium. It was their second show shown live on PPV. -Jeff Jarrett and K-Krush b. Brian Christopher and Scott Hall. -Christopher turned on Hall late in the match, helping Jarrett pin Hall. -Jarrett talked smack about Hall after the match. -Jarrett destroyed an NWA-TNA trophy and said that tradition didn’t matter. -Hall was carried out. -Jerry Lynn and A.J.Styles defeated The Rainbow Express to capture the vacant NWA World Tag Team Title. NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Bracketing: -Chris Harris and James Storm b. The Johnsons. -The Rainbow Express b. Apollo and Marcus Bagwell. -Harris and Storm were injured and unable to compete. -Lynn and Styles were a substitute for the ailing Harris and Storm in the tourney final. -Lynn and Styles b. NWA-TNA Fourth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The fourth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 10, 2002. -Annoucners: Mike Tenay, Ed Ferrera, Jeremy Borash. -Jerry Lynn and A.J. Styles b. Devon Storm and Slash to retain the NWA World Tag Team Title. Styles pinned Tempest. -Storm was wrestling as Tempest, ordered so by Mitchell. -Tempest and Slash were accompanied by Father James Mitchell. -Brian Lawler b. Norman Smiley. -Brian Christopher changed his name to “Brian Lawler” in an interview where he put down his father, Jerry Lawler. -K-Krush b. Hermie Sadler by pinfall. The decision was reversed afterwards because K-Krush wouldn’t stop beating him. -The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe) and The Hot Shots (Cassidy O’Reilly and Chase Stevens) wrestled to a no-contest when Malice ran out and attacked each of the contestants. -Malice was going to powerbomb a timekeeper when Ken Shamrock ran out and made the save. Malice was about to chokeslam Shamrock when Takao Omori ran out for the save. He wanted to preserve his title shot. -Jasmin St. Clair was on the card, doing a strip tease. Christopher Daniels vs. Kid Romeo vs. Low- Ki vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Tony Mamaluke vs. Elix Skipper. -Lynn, Tony Mamaluke and Elix Skipper were eliminated first. -Low-Ki b. Daniels in the finals. -The Elvis’s attacked Low-Ki after the match. Number Eliminated: 1. Jerry Lynn was counted out. Lynn was the sixth contender. 2. Elix Skipper pinned Tony Mamaluke. Skipper was the fifth contender. 3. Christopher Daniels pinned Elix Skipper. Daniels is the 4th contender. 4. Low-Ki’ forced Kid Romeo to submit. Low-Ki’ was the 3rd contender. 5. Low-Ki’ pinned Daniels and became the number one contender. Low-Ki’ will receive a title shot next week. -After the match, the Flying Elvises attacked both the finalists. They were angry because they weren’t apart of the X-Division. -Takao Omori paid Alicia money. -Jerry Lynn and A.J. Styles brawled in the back. Lynn landed a cradle piledriver on a storage case. -Lynn called Styles a glory hound and threw his title belt at the prone champion. -After the X-Division, six-way match, Jeff Jarrett walked out and spoke. He attacked a member of the Tennessee Titans. The football player with his teammates attacked Jarrett in return. Father James Mitchell ran out with Malice, Tempest and Slash and Malice brawled with Jarrett as the show went off the air. -"Smart" Bart Sawyer defeat "Hot Chocolate" Kory Williams and Rick Michaels defeat "All That" Adam Jacobs in a dark match. NWA-TNA Fifth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The fifth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 17, 2002. -The Lost Boys b. The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe). -The Dupps b. Big Bully Douglas and Mike Rapada when Douglas left his partner. -Sabu became the mystery ex-NWA making an appearance on the show. -Sabu vs. Malice in a special ladder match. Sabu won. He suffered a broken nose. -Sabu was attacked by James Mitchell’s guys after the match. -Sabu earns an NWA World Title match next week. -Styles laid Lynn out after an arguement…continuing their feud. -Francine attacked Jasmin in the shower. -K-Krush spoke to the crowd, said that he was fired by the WWF. -Krush pinned Norman Smiley. -The Flying Elvises (Jorge Estrada and Sonny Siaki) b. Chris Daniels and Elix Skipper when Siaki pinned Skipper. Siaki walked out on Estrada and the Dupps ran out and broke boards over Estrada’s head. -Scott Hall attacked K-Krush and laid him out. -Puppet b. Brian Lawler in the main event with the Razor’s Edge and a pinfall. -K-Krush and Lawler attacked Hall after the match. -Hall did a stretcher job and Jeff Jarrett ran out and attacked everyone. NWA-TNA Sixth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The sixth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 24, 2002. -Bill Behrens suspended Jeff Jarrett for 60-days. Jarrett knocked him out with a chair shot. He followed up with several more chair shots. Ken Shamrock attacked Jarrett. Monty Brown and Apollo ran out and pulled Shamrock off. Jarrett nailed Shamrock with a chair. -Low-Ki’ b. Red by pinfall. -Chris Harris and James Storm b. Cassidy O’Reilly and Chase Stevens. -Harris and Storm have a cowboy gimmick and Harris is not happy about it. -Apollo b. Brian Lawler. -Lawler threatened Don West and choked him. Mike Tenay and Ed Ferrara pulled him off. -K-Krush came out and said that he was changing his name to The Truth. He said that “they” have been holding him back. -Monty Brown came out and spoke. The Elvis’s (Estrada and Yang) to retain the NWA World Tag Title. -Styles was about to finish off Yang when Lynn got the pin. He wasn’t happy. -Siaki did commentary. -Disco Inferno bragged about wins over Joey Maggs and Barry Horowitz on commentary. It was announced that he’ll be doing a weekly talk show. -Monty Brown and Elix Skipper b. Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger. Brown pinned Diamond after a powerbomb. -Ian Harrison b. Bo Dupp by disqualification when Stan Dupp interfered. -Shamrock and Jarrett brawled backstage. -Ken Shamrock and Sabu went to a no-contest in a NWA World Title Match in a ladder match. -Malice climbed the ladder and took the belt. He left with it. -According to reports, Sabu destroyed things backstage and was pissed that Shamrock was stiff with kicks during the match. NWA-TNA Seventh Pay-Per-View (Live) -The seventh NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 31, 2002. -A.J. Styles b. Elix Skipper to retain the NWA X-Division Title. -Slash b. Sonny Siaki. -Ron “The Truth” Killings ran down one of the TNA girls and called her a few names. Monty Brown ran out to make the save, but was laid out with a 2x4. Rick Steamboat, who was the NWA-TNA Commissioner, came out and yelled at Killings. Killings brought out WrestleMania III and his match with Randy Savage and why Steamboat never got a WWF Title Match. Steamboat saw where Killings was coming from and announced that he would receive a shot at Ken Shamrock and the NWA Title next week. -Apollo b. Malice. -Bruce (Alan Funk) b. Taylor Vaughn to capture the Miss TNA Title. -Low-Ki’ and Jerry Lynn wrestled to a no-contest when Styles attacked Lynn. -Disco Inferno had a segment with Goldylocks. Inferno was kicked in the lower abdominal region. Paulina Thomas, the 6’2’’ girl from Tough Enough I, choked Goldy out. -Jeff Jarrett b. Scott Hall in a stretcher match by pinfall. -Earlier in the show, Puppet pulled a gun on Jarrett. Security stopped him and Jarrett hit him with a chair. NWA-TNA Eighth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The eighth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the State Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 7, 2002. -Jimmy Rave b. Styles and Jerry Lynn brawled in the back prior to their match. -Malice b. Don Harris in a 1st blood match. -Slash and James Mitchell, both members of the Disciple of the New Church, interfered on Malice’s behalf. -Jeff Jarrett b. Apollo (Apolo) by pinfall. -Special Referee: Rick Steamboat. -Apollo’s first pinfall in NWA-TNA. -Steamboat told Jarrett that he would team with Ron Killings next week for the NWA World Tag Title against Lynn and Styles. -Bruce b. Taylor in an Evening Gown Match for the Miss TNA Title. NWA-TNA Ninth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The ninth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the State Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 14, 2002. -Ron Killings opened the show and said that that TNA homebase was his house. He said it would be known as the TNA Asylum from now on. -He said some surprising things, one being that he hadn’t received opportunities elsewhere because of the color of his skin, but that the NWA- TNA was offering him them. -Jeff Jarrett told him to put his dream away. He said that the only reason that Killings was the champion and that he wasn’t, was because of reverse discrimination. Jarrett wanted a title shot. -Bill Behrens said that there was a new sheriff in town. He was wearing a cowboy hat. He said that Jarrett and Killings could fight, but it wouldn’t be for the NWA World Title. -Jarrett was going to attack Behrens when he was attacked by Brian Lawler from behind. -The Spanish Announce Team (Joel and Jose Maximo and The Amazing Red) vs. Kid Kash, Shark Boy and Slim J. Red pinned Slim giving the SATs the victory. -Bruce, Miss TNA challenged anyone from the crowd to wrestle him for his title and $5,000. A woman from the front row was picked and Bruce won, although the unknown dominated the match. -Don Harris vs. Malice. Harris won when he was up at the 9-count and Malice fell back to the ground. -Last Man Standing Match. -A brutal match. -Afterwards, Harris offered his hand to Malice and it was accepted. -Beau Dupp vs. Teo. Teo pinned Dupp and captured the Dupp Cup. -Puppet helped Teo win. -Monty Brown vs. Elix Skipper. Brown won by pinfall. -Detroit Street Fight. -Goldy was interviewing numerous people throughout the show. -The Elvises (Estrada, Siaki and Yang) vs. Low-Ki’, NWA X-Division Champion. Ki’ retained. -If one wrestler is pinned or forced to submit, they were forced from the match. Number Eliminated: 1. Yang forced Estrada to submit via Boston Crab. 2. Low-Ki’ pinned Yang with help from Siaki. 3. Ki’ pinned Siaki with help from Yang. -Disco Inferno brought out movie star Dean Baldwin, who was promoting “Urban Heartthrob.” Baldwin sent out get well wishes to Jason Priestly. -Jeff Jarrett and Ron Killings, NWA World Heavyweight Champion vs. Jerry Lynn and A.J. Styles, NWA World Tag Team Champions. Late in the match, Armstrong was knocked out by Styles in an accidental situation. Lynn hit his cradle piledriver on Killings. Armstrong was unable to count a pinfall for Lynn. Jarrett attacked Lynn and covered him as Styles hit his Spiral Tap on Killings. Armstrong counted Styles pin on Killings. At the same time, Rudy Charles counted Jarrett’s pin on Lynn. Both referees argued about the winner, Bob Armstrong came out and announced that the belts were held-up. -Referee: Scott Armstrong. -After the match, Armstrong announced that Killings would defend his NWA World Heavyweight Title against Monty Brown next week. He said that Styles and Lynn would wrestle to determine the number one contender to the X- Division Championship. Both wrestlers asked if it could be a falls-count- anywhere match and a no-disqualification match. Armstrong agreed. One-fall is falls-count anywhere. The second fall is no-disqualification. If there was a third fall, it would be under Ironman rules…where whoever gets the most pinfalls in 10-minutes wins. NWA-TNA Tenth Pay-Per-View (Live) -The tenth NWA-TNA pay-per-view was held live at the State Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 21, 2002. -Jerry Lynn vs. A.J. Styles. Lynn pinned Styles with his cradle-piledriver on the stage. -1st Match of a best-of-three-series. -Falls-count-anywhere match. -Chris Harris and James Storm vs. Ron Harris and Brian Lee. Harris and Storm won. -Sonny Siaki vs. Jimmy Yang. -Two-of-three-falls match. 1. Siaki and Yang split the first two falls. 2. Siaki and Yang split the first two falls. 3. Jarrett attacked Bullet. Jarrett said that he was something 20-years ago. Bob Armstrong appeared on the stage, proving that the masked man wasn’t him.
