Leo Wallick was the older brother of wrestler Chester "Chet" Wallick, and was from
Youngstown, Ohio.

According to Jake Wade's column in the March 1, 1934 edition of the Charlotte Observer,
Leo Wallick was dubbed the "woman slayer, "and had a personal animosity toward
wrestler Leo Alexander.  It was said that the two men were vocal about their dislike for
each other in the office of promoter Irish Horan, and nearly came to fisticuffs several
times.  They did eventually wrestle in Greenville "about a month ago," and it was "such a
wild and rough brawl they almost had to call out the gendarmes to separate" them.
However, this may be just part of an angle.
