Italian wrestling sensation Leo Pardello was born around 1872 and may have been in the
U.S. as early as 1880.  By 1910, he was living in Brooklyn with his wife Annie and five children.

The Washington Post (1/26/1906) reported that Leo Pardello had been wrestling all comers
while traveling with a theatrical troupe across the western part of the United States.  He had
to return to his home in New York City with severe blood poisoning after being bitten by a
rival in a match at Minneapolis.
