John Hall, in his column in the Los Angeles Times (5/3/1967), stated that "A paid crowd of 48,530 turned out last Saturday night in Seoul, Korea to see Mark Lewin of the United States drop the world mat crown to Korea's Kintaro Oki." He went on to say that Mike LeBell wanted to hold the rematch in Los Angeles, but that the Coliseum might not be big enough. "They're going to call it the Super Brawl," according to Hall. This was considerably before WCW used the name for a PPV. Research by Tim Hornbaker |
